I'm a game designer and tech artist with a passion for creating immersive experiences. I specialize in using Unity and Unreal Engine to create engaging gameplay mechanics and stunning visuals. My expertise also includes combat and animation design as I practice 3D rigging and animation using Maya and 3ds Max. I am proficient in C# and Python programming, and have experience with Jira, Trello, and Click-up for organization.

EXPERIENCE

MAY 2023 - OCTOBER 2023

PUNK FURY

Game Designer
I worked as a game designer on a team that developed a action-platformer game for console and PC targeted towards the casual punk enthusiast. My responsibilities included designing and implementing game mechanics, combat scripts and animations, creating the player character, NPCs and the UI/UX. I also organized playtests each milestone and adjusted gameplay based on player feedback.

MAY 2023 (48H GAME JAM)

BLUNT FORCE

Game Designer
I participated in a game jam where I collaborated with and mentored a team of developers and artists for their first game jam to create a 2D platformer game in 48 hours. My responsibilities included designing the games 3Cs (Camera,  Controls, Character) and designing concepts for the main level, helping the other artists with modeling, texturing,  and implementing props via Sourcetree.

DECEMBER 2022 - MAY 2023

Game Designer/Project Manager

I worked and managed a team of 5 that developed an isometric 3D Tower Defense game for PC. My responsibilities included scheduling design meetings where we rapidly prototyped the games mechanics and aesthetics, holding our stand ups and post mortems, and assisted the creation of 3D assets and scripts. 

JANUARY 2021 - Present

T.E.O.T.E.

Game/Dungeon Master
I designed a homebrew Dungeons and Dragons (5e) campaign with a new world, characters, and narrative. I also created a new race to fit the game world and new items catered to each players desired experience.

This campaign had 3 runs total and 2 groups playing parallel to each other, with 2 returning players from when I had made it's first prototype.

JANUARY 2023 (48H GAME JAM)

ITS 420!

Game Developer

Designed a 2D Fixed Camera Shooter focused on arcade style gameplay using scores, powerups and obstacles.

PERSONAL PROJECTS

I'm currently working on my combat design knowledge by prototyping a 3rd person Hack and Slash.

Set in the universe from my DND campaign, the player uses the various weapons designed for the campaign to survive as long as they can in a simulated arena.

I plan to take aspects from Devil May Cry's Bloody Palace, Ultrakill's Cybergrind, and the Animus spaces from the early Assassins Creed games.
